Learning Objectives

Gender Sensitivity
  1. To provide the participants with the basic gender principles which have to be always incorporated in AFAD’s advocacy on enforced disappearances;

  2. To provide them with the basic knowledge of UN instruments gender, e.g. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination

  3. Against Women (CEDAW) and on Preventing and Combatting Violence Against Women;
  4. To give practical knowledge on how to incorporate gender in all activities, researches, statements of AFAD.

  5. To facilitate the finalization of AFAD’s gender policies.
